Oh, my gosh, do I love this candlebox! Original condition, dirt and all. I don't think it has been touched since the day it was made! I think the paint is green and salmon, but others think it is green and red. The colors are just like the photo shows, so you decide, but whatever the colors, it's just a wonderful primitive. It's dovetailed and made with lots of handmade square nails, all look a different shape. There is shrinkage of the lid, a natural occurrence from age. Some very old breaks that have smoothed over from years of use, and a split where a nail is, but this box is very sturdy and tight. It is large, measuring 17 inches long, 10-1/2 inches deep and 5-3/4 inches high. What a wonderful edition to your primitive home! $549. Includes shipping. Candles not included.
