This is a wonderful early folk art mirror. I would date this looking glass hand mirror about 1840-1850. In the mid 19th century it was common practice for a male suitor to give a small mirror as a courting gift, a token of affection. There is normal wear on the handle of the mirror which is normal wear for a mirror this old. Measures 13-1/2 inches long and 5 inches wide. $139. Includes shipping.
